Since 2012, we have been developing indigenous and specialised electromechanical systems and resolving challengingproblems for the actuating mechanisms, making use of the engineering and R&D experience we have gained in the defence and aerospace sector.
Bringing innovative and high-tech solutions in such fields as design, development, production and support, we make a difference for a wide variety of platforms and subsystems, especially air and land platforms of different types, in line with our customers’ expectations of quality, budget and timeline.
In a significant number of the projects we have undertaken to date, we have overcome difficulties through our own designs when it has not been possible to use off-the-shelf electromechanical system solutions. In order to reach the optimum solution in a process extending up to a qualified product, we design and manufacture not only the subsystems but also all necessary subcomponents, including production benches and test systems.
We test our products in line with military environmental and electromagnetic standards (MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461), and deliver our products with electronic, mechanical, and software and hardware redundancy features that meet civil aviation standards (DO-254 and DO-178).
In order to deliver reliable products at competitive prices that also offer safety, weight and volume advantages, we develop and manufacture all kinds of embedded software and hardware that we use in our electromechanical systems, rather than offering off-the-shelf solutions.
One of the best examples of the value-added products we provide to our customers are the our servo actuator family that we design and produce for various unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms. Our products in this area have accumulated more than 250,000 flight hours in total on three different UAV platforms, executed both in Turkey and abroad under varied geographical conditions, and most of them were spent during actual operations. Our target is to exceed 1 million flight hours within 2020 .
We can respond to the expectations of our customers in a very short period of time thanks to the electromechanical system solutions that we design and produce for not only UAVs, but also fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, land and sea vehicles, and missiles and guided ammunitions of different classes.
The secret behind our success is our comprehensive knowledge of all subcomponents and our vertical expertise. In the process of designing an electromechanical actuation system, we come up with solutions making use of ready subcomponents, but when existing solutions do not meet the requirement or do not comply with the system architecture, we have the ability to design and produce all components of the system, including the electric motor and motor drivers. This allows us to develop electromechanical actuation systems to suit different volumes and geometries. Furthermore, we can also provide solutions that are free off all kinds of permits and export license restrictions applied by third countries, thus increasing the possibility of exporting the products developed by the Turkish defence and aerospace sector to friendly and allied nations.
